Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Summer School in Tokat, Turkey

A group of students from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature attended the Turkish Language Summer School in the Republic of Turkey. The summer school was organized for the first time under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University in Tokat, Turkey.

A total of 40 students from Sarajevo, Zenica, Tuzla and Mostar stayed at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University in Tokat from July 15 to August 9. In addition to Turkish language classes, they had the opportunity to learn other skills such as: traditional drawing on dishes, painting scarves, Turkish archery, ebru drawing on water, painting on wood and getting to know Turkish cuisine through making traditional dishes. In addition to the city of Tokat and its attractions, the students also visited the municipalities of Pazar, Niksar, Turhal and Erbaa, which belong to Tokat. Our students used the weekends to go to the Black Sea to the cities of Samsun and Ünye, and the nearby cities of Amasya and Sivas.

For Tokat, the students say that it remains their fondest memory. They met many friends and new places in Tokat, and they are of the same opinion that one day they will surely return again. "We are here for the first time, we really like the city, the people are very warm, parting from this city will be very difficult for us", "I am very sad to leave here, from now on, next to Mostar, another city will live in my heart, and that is Tokat", are just some of the statements of our students in front of the TV houses in Tokat. On the last night of the stay, the certificate of attending the summer school was awarded.

On this occasion, the students thank the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University in Tokat for the most beautiful days of their lives, with a message to all students not to miss such opportunities.
