History of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a study program in the third cycle of study/doctoral study.

Upon completion of the three-year doctoral study, the candidate acquires 180 ECTS points, and the title: Doctor of Humanities, scientific field: History, with an indication of one of the following branches:

⦁ History of ancient times
⦁ History of the Middle Ages
⦁ History of the New Century and the Modern Era
⦁ Art History
⦁ Auxiliary historical sciences

Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and foreign nationals who, after the nostrification procedure, i.e. the equivalence of the diploma of a previously completed cycle/degree of study, have the right to enroll in the third cycle of study under equal conditions, have been found to have completed adequate education for continuing studies in the third cycle.
